Enrolment

Thank you for your interest in Ngutu College. We look forward to meeting your child or young person and speaking with you about the learning opportunities available at Ngutu!

If you are considering enrolment with us, we invite you to work through the below admissions process. We are currently accepting applications for all year levels commencing in 2024 and beyond, including expressions of interest for Year 11 in 2025.

Admission Process

Step 1: Learn more about Ngutu College

An important part of the admission process is to find out more information about our College.

Visit our Facebook page to find out what has been happening in the College and our website to learn more. If you have any questions or require any further information please email admissions@ngutucollege.org.au.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We are currently only hosting tours for Kindergarten entry in 2025 and beyond, and Year 7 in 2025. Applications for these year levels must be submitted by 31 May 2024 to be considered for Round 1 enrolment offers.

We strongly encourage interested families to attend a family tour before completing an application form. You can book into a tour here.

Step 2: Complete an online Admission Form

A separate Application Form must be completed for each child.

  • The Application Form is how we are able to determine interest in enrolment and needs to be completed well in advance of the intended commencement date.
  • We are currently at capacity in most year levels across the College. However, we are accepting applications for all year levels, Kindergarten – Year 10, commencing in 2024 and beyond. We are also accepting applications for Year 11 (2025) and Year 12 (2026) as registrations of interest at this stage.
  • Applications made for 2024 will be assessed as they are received. It may be that an offer cannot be made immediately, but we can retain family details should a vacancy open up at some stage in future.
  • As a guide, we are encouraging lodging an Application Form by May 31 in the year prior to intended commencement, particularly for Kindergarten entry.

Once your Application Form is received and acknowledged, we will consider this as part of our enrolment process, as outlined in our enrolment policy.

Step 3: Offer of Enrolment

Formal enrolment offers from our Head of College will be made in late July and late August for enrolments commencing in the following year. These will be sent via email, as will be notifications if we are unable to offer a placement.

Entry and Places Available

Ngutu College offers enrolment from Kindergarten through to Year 10. We are accepting applications for enrolment in Years 11 (2025) and Year 12 (2026) as expressions of interest only, at this stage.

Our main point of entry, and availability, is in Kindergarten. For places commencing in all other year levels, we will consider on a case-by-case basis where places are available within enrolment priorities and at the Head of College’s discretion.

If you are considering Ngutu College in the future, we highly recommend you submit an application form as soon as possible. We have a cap of 25 children at each year level, so places at Ngutu College are in high demand. Therefore, it is never too early to submit an application.

Book a Tour of Ngutu College

If you are interested in enrolment for your child, please book into one of our Family Tours.

* Please note that whilst an enrolment process may appear simple, the factors affecting whether or not an offer is made weigh up numerous factors. The College has enrolment caps at each year level and across our class groups. We need to ensure that our enrolment targets are met as priority and that balance is maintained across our groups.
