Out of School Hours Care (OSHC)

Our Holistic Approach

Many of our school-time staff also work in OSHC to ensure continuity of relationships for many of the children accessing the service. Our Director works full-time so is on site for most of the day and checks in with children throughout the day and offers this support and relationship beyond the service. 

The service operates from 7am-8:30am each week day during the term and 3:15 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. It operates from 2:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays when the school day is shorter. Vacation Care and child-free Days are offered from 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. The service is only closed on weekends, one day a year for a College closure and 2 weeks over the Christmas/New Year period. 

The service is licensed to support up to 30 children each session and is staffed with at least one staff member for every 10 children. There are additional staff when Kindy children are booked in and if there are children requiring additional specialist supports.
